Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy VD to all of the lovers in the world. By that I mean if  you love anything at all, embrace your love today.
This heart was spotted on the sidewalk by someone I was walking with after a tremendous snowfall this weekend. It was just sitting there, waiting for a photograph. There was no styling involved, just my iPhone and my favorite ap, Hipstamatic, which shoots square. I shot square for years when I shot film, with medium-format cameras, my last being a Hassleblad. I love square images. Here's to love!

Fashionably Late at the Liberty Hotel, Dec. 23rd!

The Liberty Hotel's 'Fashionably Late,' which occurs almost every Thursday eve, will be using a wintry image of mine and I'm digging that.
Come out on Dec. 23rd and meet me there!
Let's celebrate the Holiday's with fashion, maybe some drinks + new and old friends.
I felt sorry for the model, but loved her spirit - she was game
to pose in frigid, snowy weather to get the shot.

Love Scenes Show/Brunch in JP on Feb. 6th was a success.

Edana Spicker, a former art rep turned real estate agent, created a wonderful event with photography by 6 local photographers (myself included), plus live music, live models, a make-up artist, fresh oysters, pastries, and prosecco (my fave)!
Here's a shot from Dame's wedding related window.
I love their vintage dresses, corsets, everything.
