Love Scenes Show/Brunch in JP on Feb. 6th was a success.

Edana Spicker, a former art rep turned real estate agent, created a wonderful event with photography by 6 local photographers (myself included), plus live music, live models, a make-up artist, fresh oysters, pastries, and prosecco (my fave)!

Wedding Maps!

I bought some beautiful, tongue in chic stamps made by Pier Gustafson several years ago. Now, he makes wedding maps, which are gorgeous. If you like comic books (you may prefer to call them graphic novels), you'll love these.

Last week, I photographed Tia Maria. We had so much fun. She is a great make-up artist, hair stylist AND model. Just another superstar! She has definitely picked up a thing or two from working with models so often. I hope she'll come to Miami to do make-up and hair for the portraits I plan to do there in early May.

Sarah Hodge

I recently did a bridal shoot. Sarah Hodge of Maggie, Inc. in Boston, was our model. Tia Maria did her beautiful hair and make-up, and Terri Mahn provided the gorgeous dresses and accessories.  I loved the patterned shoes that Terri came up with, AND the fur cuffs on this amazing dress, designed by  Denise Hajjar. Denise Hajjar is having a spring fashion show on Wed. March 25 from 5:30 to 8:30 at the Fairmont Copley Boston Hotel to benefit the ALS Assoc. (Lou Gehrig's Disease).

Jade Perkins

Jade works for Maggie, Inc. in Boston and is an incredibly skilled and inventive model. I loved working with Jade. Tia Maria styled her hair and make-up and Terri Mahn did her clothes and accessories. Carter Tanton of the band Tulsa.

I photographed his interview and live performance at wzbc  (90.3 fm) in January 2009.  He played a show with Tulsa that night at the Middle East. I love the music he creates. I'm addicted to the cd, "I Was Submerged." I've linked the title to this piece to Tulsa's myspace page so you can listen.

Naked Cowboy, NYC Parking Garage

One may think there is a slight obsession here, with parking garages. I do like old parking garages, though I didn't find this one particularly riveting. But, the "Naked Cowboy" just happened to walk out of this garage I'd parked in, after tuning up his instrument. He strode off into Times Square, the neon, day for night Venice Beach of NYC. I didn't have time to catch his act.
